Responsibilities

• The Senior Producer, Social Media leads the planning, creation, and optimization of social-first content across platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook and YouTube.
• This role independently creates content while providing editorial guidance and project leadership to Producers and Associate Producers, ensuring all content aligns with our brand voice and strategic goals.
• Lead social media content projects, offering guidance, support, and feedback to Producers and Associate Producers within the Social Media team while contributing to a collaborative environment.
• Plan, prepare, optimize, and publish YouTube content and livestreams while providing feedback and support to Producers and Associate Producers.
• Plan, produce, edit and publish high-quality engaging content, including graphics and video, for social media platforms.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and collaborate with editorial teams to ensure that content aligns with overall brand voice.
• Interact with Spectrum Networks talent in a professional manner.
• Uses a combination of editorial judgment and performance metrics to effectively post on social media platforms.
• Participate in tracking and supporting the regular posting schedule of content and editorial pieces across key social media accounts, as directed.
• Stay up to date on social media trends and best practices to ensure that content stays innovative and relevant

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field or comparable work experience
• Relevant work experience – 3-5 years
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X – including social media video editing tools
• Deep knowledge and experience in shooting social media video content on iPhone
• Proven ability to lead projects from concept ideation through posting and analytics
• Experience working with talent and/or content creators
• Expert knowledge of social media platforms
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of current events and industry trends
• Demonstrated proficiency at multi-tasking and must have the ability to prioritize, work independently and meet strict deadlines
