Job Summary

Own social content and community outreach to elevate Unison Health’s presence, combining content development, program promotion, and event representation to drive engagement and referrals.

  • Social Content & Engagement: plan, post, and optimize content across platforms to reflect brand and amplify programs.
  • Recruitment & Brand Marketing: highlight openings and workplace culture to attract candidates and foster community ties.
  • Community & Event Presence: build partnerships, represent the organization at events, and report trends to leadership.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develops, schedules, and posts content across Unison Health’s social media platforms
  • Creates engaging content promoting programs, services, events, and job opportunities
  • Writes captions, announcements, and digital communications aligned with brand standards
  • Supports recruitment marketing by highlighting job openings and workplace culture
  • Creates and edits basic photo and short-form video content for social media
  • Monitors social media engagement and escalates sensitive issues as needed
  • Builds and maintains relationships with community partners and referral sources
  • Represents Unison Health at community events, fairs, and outreach activities
  • Develops, distributes, and maintains marketing materials and program resources
  • Tracks outreach activity, gathers feedback, and reports trends to leadership

Requirements

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
  • Related experience in marketing, communications, social media, outreach, community engagement, customer service, or referral development preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or community-based services preferred.
  • Must demonstrate strong written, verbal, visual, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must have strong customer service skills and the ability to represent Unison Health professionally in the community.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work occasional evenings or weekends for community events, outreach activities, or special projects.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel for outreach activities and events.

Preferred

  • Experience with Canva, social media scheduling tools, basic graphic design, photography, or video editing preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or community-based services preferred.
