Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content, Storytelling & Brand Management.
  • Develop clear, engaging, dignity-centered content that demonstrates EVCF's impact and reflects the voices and experiences of the community.
  • Create and edit content for newsletters, donor communications, impact reports, website pages, social media, print materials, presentations, and community outreach.
  • Partner with the team to execute annual fundraising, donor stewardship, community education, and awareness campaigns.
  • Work with bilingual staff and trusted translation resources to produce accurate, accessible English- and Spanish-language communications. Adapt messaging for different audiences and channels while maintaining cultural responsiveness, dignity, and clarity.

Requirements

  • Minimum Work Experience: two to four years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, nonprofit storytelling, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adjust tone for different audiences.
  • Working knowledge of common marketing and design platforms such as Canva, WordPress, MailChimp, Adobe, and social scheduling tools.
  • Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish; bilingual and bicultural candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred

  • Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or business administration preferred
