Responsibilities

• Engage with community members through canvassing, outdoor events, and street outreach to promote charitable causes and initiatives
• Communicate effectively using face-to-face interaction, ensuring clear understanding of the cause's mission and goals
• Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, track progress, and report on outreach activities in real-time
• Build rapport with diverse audiences, demonstrating strong conversational engagement and customer service skills
• Negotiate support commitments with potential donors while maintaining a respectful and positive attitude
• Conduct community engagement activities that increase awareness and foster long-term relationships
• Collaborate with team members to achieve fundraising targets and share best practices for outreach success

Preferred

• Proven experience in field sales, canvassing, or outdoor work environments preferred
• Supervising experience or leadership qualities are a plus for those interested in team coordination roles
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to reach diverse communities effectively
• Experience in fundraising, community engagement, or marketing is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm is key!
