Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Storytelling: Write and produce high-quality content for a variety of platforms, including social media, newsletters, website updates, flyers, advertisements, and donor communications. Collect and curate powerful student and family testimonies to highlight the impact of Seeds of Hope programs. Script messaging for events and campaigns to ensure consistent, mission-driven communication across all touchpoints. Collaborate with schools to identify and develop compelling newsletter stories.
  • Marketing & Brand Development: Create and implement a communications plan to grow Seeds of Hope’s digital presence and expand the “Seeds of Hope Voice” brand. Contribute to the development of broader strategic communication and marketing plans that elevate awareness and engagement. Ensure that all messaging aligns with the organization’s mission, values, and brand standards.
  • Engagement & Support: Support donor and community engagement through timely, relevant, and inspiring messaging that fosters connection and reinforces mission impact. Provide on-site communications support at events, occasionally during evenings or weekends. Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team by assisting with special projects as assigned by the Executive Director. Make thoughtful recommendations to improve Seeds of Hope’s communication processes, tools, and strategies.

Requirements

  • A practicing Christian eager to carry out the mission of the Archdiocese to rescue all people in Jesus Christ for the glory of the Father.
  • Bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of three years of professional experience with social media.
  • A mission-driven professional who is passionate about making a meaningful impact through communications work.
  • Experience with digital communications, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, school partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable taking initiative while also seeking support or direction when needed.
  • Will­ingness to work a flexible, part-time schedule (up to 20 hours per week), including occasional evenings or weekends.
