Responsibilities

• Lead proactive PR strategies to position Amazon Ads as an industry thought leader.
• Manage reactive communications and crisis response for issues impacting Amazon Ads' reputation.
• Build and maintain relationships with top-tier advertising, marketing, and business media outlets.
• Create compelling narratives around Amazon Ads' business strategy, product innovations, and customer stories.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop authentic positioning and messaging.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across external touchpoints.
• Prepare executives for media interviews, speaking opportunities, and industry events.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and public sentiment to identify opportunities and risks.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of reputation management strategies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional communications or public relations experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Proven track record managing proactive and reactive communications for a global business.
• Strong media relationships with relevant business and trade publications.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic communications plans that drive results.

Preferred
