Responsibilities
- Associate Demand Forecaster
- New York City, NY (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)
- In this role, you'll support forecasting, inventory planning, and business analysis across a portfolio of leading brands. You'll work closely with Sales, Production, Operations, and Finance while developing expertise in demand planning, inventory management, and forecasting within the apparel industry.
- Generate and maintain forecasting and inventory reports, including Available-to-Sell, Replenishment, Demand Planning, and Exception Reporting
- Assist in preparing monthly forecasts and business projections for assigned product categories
- Analyze sales, inventory, and point-of-sale data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Monitor performance against forecast and communicate key variances and business drivers
- Prepare production and inventory analysis reports at the SKU level to support planning decisions
- Track units invoiced, shipped, open, and canceled versus plan and provide actionable insights
- Support inventory planning and replenishment recommendations to optimize stock levels and service rates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Fashion Business Management, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Finance, Apparel Production, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in forecasting, planning, inventory management, buying, allocation, operations, logistics, or financial analysis
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with BlueCherry or a similar ERP system is a plus, but not required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
