Requirements

Marketing or related experience
Content creation and copywriting across different media
Video production and editing skills
Experience in digital marketing is highly desirable
Able to work individually and report back at weekly meetings
Comfortable with online tools such as Google Drive, Suitdash, Dot Digital, Canva
Willing to visit the theatre from time to time
Self-discipline and commitment

Preferred

Familiarity with Suitdash
Additional digital marketing experience
Ability to brainstorm and manage projects in a small team

Joseph Rowntree Theatre

The Joseph Rowntree Theatre is a registered charity providing a performance space for the City of York and surrounding areas. A Grade II listed theatre, it was built by the Rowntree Village Trust in 1935 and is the only remaining Rowntree building still used for its original purpose - a place for recreation and entertainment.A volunteer board of 15 trustees manage the theatre, supported by over 170 volunteers working across all areas, from stage crew to box office, fundraising and marketing.The theatre aims to provide a vibrant community hub for its communities.
