Job Summary

Own the Faculty’s digital presence with a strong focus on CMS governance, accessible and SEO-friendly content, and AI-aware best practices that support recruitment and engagement.

  • Own content lifecycle and CMS governance for news, blogs, case studies and multimedia.
  • Drive audience-focused storytelling and measurable outcomes aligned with recruitment goals.
  • Use analytics, testing and policy guidance to continuously improve the digital experience and support the digital strategy.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Faculty’s website, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, accessible and optimised for search engines, user experience and AI best practice.
  • Produce and deliver high-quality, audience-focused digital content (news stories, blogs, case studies, video and multimedia) aligned with brand and recruitment objectives.
  • Use analytics, data insights and user testing to evaluate performance and inform continuous improvement of digital content and website development.
  • The post holder will support and contribute to key digital and web projects, including implementation of the Faculty’s Web Policy and digital strategy, advising colleagues on content production and website best practice, and helping deliver continuous improvements to the Faculty’s digital presence.

Requirements

  • Relevant first degree or equivalent experience.
  • Professional background in multichannel digital content and communications.
  • Experience of managing and maintaining website content using CMS platforms and using analytics tools, data dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to implement strategies relating to digital marketing and to introduce innovations.
  • Ability to build productive relationships and networks with academic and professional services colleagues at all levels.
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory and best-practice frameworks, including GDPR, accessibility standards and the UK higher education context, alongside a commitment to inclusive and accessible communications.
