Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead trade marketing activity across retail, B2B and spa channels, balancing commercial priorities with the distinctive needs of the spa and wellness sector.
- Develop and execute: Retail and spa launch plans; Seasonal and promotional campaigns; Trade and partner activations; In-store and in-spa merchandising; Retail animation programmes; Treatment launches and wellness campaigns; B2B events and trade showcases; Sell-in and sell-out initiatives.
- Ensure every activation is commercially effective while remaining unmistakably ESPA.
- Grow spa partnerships: own the trade marketing strategy that supports our most important partners; develop programmes to increase Treatment bookings, Spa retail sales, Brand visibility and desirability, Partner engagement and retention, New partner opportunities, Commercial performance across strategic accounts.
- Inspiring Therapists & Spa Teams: Therapist engagement initiatives; Activation toolkits; Product and treatment campaigns; Retail recommendation programmes; Education and motivation initiatives; In-spa launches and experiences.
- Building Luxury Hospitality Partnerships: develop strong relationships and compelling marketing programmes for luxury hospitality and wellness partners; understand stakeholders from Spa Directors to Hotel GMs and Procurement teams.
- Bringing the ESPA Brand to Life: translate ESPA's brand world into immersive spa experiences; new treatment concepts and launches; Sensory rituals and wellness journeys; Seasonal spa experiences; In-spa storytelling and merchandising; Guest engagement touchpoints; Spa-exclusive activations; Wellness programming; Retail storytelling.
Requirements
- Strong trade marketing experience within beauty, wellness, luxury, hospitality or a related sector
- A strong understanding of the spa and wellness industry
- Experience developing and executing B2B and partner marketing programmes
- Commercial awareness and confidence working with performance data
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and strategic partners
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- A creative approach to brand activation and experiential marketing
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to balance brand ambition with commercial realities
