Own the Shopify platform end-to-end, driving commercial performance and a seamless customer experience while coordinating with Marketing, Creative and Product teams.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • You'll be our in-house Shopify expert , taking hands-on ownership of the platform and ensuring the website is commercially optimised, technically robust and continually evolving. This includes:
  • Taking day-to-day ownership of Shopify, confidently managing products, variants, collections, navigation, menus, metafields, redirects, templates and site content.
  • Building and merchandising landing pages, collection pages and product pages to support campaigns, launches and trading priorities.
  • Managing pricing, compare-at pricing, promotional mechanics, discounting and onsite offers , ensuring campaigns are implemented accurately and effectively.
  • Working closely with Marketing, Creative and Product teams to ensure campaigns, content and new launches are effectively represented across the website.
  • Managing product launches and onsite changes, including scheduling and coordinating updates around key trading periods.
  • Understanding and managing the Shopify app ecosystem, identifying where apps, integrations or native Shopify functionality can improve performance or efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting Shopify issues and taking ownership of resolving them, working with developers or external partners where specialist development support is required.
  • Understanding Shopify themes and the fundamentals of Liquid, HTML and CSS sufficiently to identify issues, make appropriate minor changes where possible and confidently brief developers on larger requirements.
  • Managing integrations between Shopify and relevant third-party platforms and systems, working with Operations and technical partners to ensure product, inventory, order and customer data flows correctly.

Requirements

  • proven experience managing and developing Shopify websites within a fast-paced ecommerce environment and ideally have experience managing marketplace channels such as Amazon and TikTok Shop
  • confident in taking ownership of digital trading, platform development and customer experience across multiple ecommerce channels
  • strong commercial awareness with a customer-first mindset, using data and insight to make informed decisions and continuously improve performance
  • proactive, curious and passionate about ecommerce, always looking for new opportunities to enhance the customer experience and drive growth
  • Experience within the beauty, cosmetics or wider FMCG industry would be highly advantageous
