Responsibilities

  • Formulate cohesive, multi-channel national tour marketing plans detailing timelines, asset deployment schedules, and revenue goals across regional markets.
  • Design audience development initiatives that target specific regional demographics, group booking segments, and niche interest communities.
  • Manage substantial marketing budgets, allocating spend across markets based on historical sales data, seating capacity, and real-time box office pacing.
  • Oversee the production of all promotional assets, including key art, video trailers, social media shorts, and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Direct paid digital media strategies encompassing localized SEO, PPC, and targeted social media advertising campaigns.
  • Leverage CRM tools to deploy data-driven email marketing funnels and track automated abandon-cart or re-engagement flows.
  • Partner directly with regional venue marketing managers and local promoters to maximize local box office channels and leverage regional venue databases.
  • Build custom, market-specific asset packages including localized print, radio, digital ads, and out-of-home (OOH) media placements.
  • Coordinate on-sale schedules and priority booking windows systematically across the entire tour routing.
  • Analyse real-time box office reports and ticketing metrics weekly to identify sluggish markets and rapidly pivot promotional strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of professional marketing experience, with at least 2 years explicitly focused on touring theatrical productions, live music, festivals, or experiential entertainment.
  • Performance Delivery: Demonstrated success driving ticket sales and direct‑response outcomes across multiple local markets, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Analytical Expertise: Proficient with ticketing platforms, Google Analytics/GA4, Facebook Ads Manager/Meta, DSPs, and Excel/SQL (or equivalent). Able to translate complex data into revenue‑driving insights, strategic recommendations, and consistent KPI delivery.
  • Budget & Media Buying: Proven ability to manage marketing budgets and execute media buys across national and hyperlocal campaigns, optimising spend efficiency and performance.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the touring landscape, regional market nuances, and standard box office ticketing platforms.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to influence senior leadership, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and align venue marketing partners toward unified campaign goals.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment effectively managing overlapping timelines and campaigns across multiple geographic markets.
