Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Delivering and growing IRUK’s email and SMS marketing programme, managing campaigns from conception through to delivery and evaluation.
  • Overseeing email and SMS marketing platforms, develop supporter journeys and automated communications, drive audience engagement, and provide regular reporting and analysis to optimise campaign performance and maximise results.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Fundraising, Data and Creative teams to ensure campaign messages reach the right audiences through innovative and engaging communications that support IRUK’s mission and objectives.

Requirements

  • Senior Email Marketing Officer with experience in email and SMS marketing, audience segmentation and campaign optimisation.
  • Strong understanding of KPI development, performance tracking, and campaign reporting.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of email and SMS marketing, audience segmentation, supporter journeys, and marketing automation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging copy.
  • Strong copy-editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to apply IRUK branding, tone of voice, and style guidelines consistently.

Preferred

  • Experience of delivering email marketing campaigns targeted towards British Muslim audiences.
  • Proven experience of implementing email marketing programmes and automated customer journeys.
  • Experience of developing and managing supporter segmentation strategies for marketing purposes.
  • Experience of user journey mapping and creating engaging supporter stewardship and retention journeys.
  • Hands-on experience using email marketing platforms, preferably Dotdigital.
  • Experience of stakeholder and relationship management across multiple teams.
