Job Summary

Own the communications and marketing output for landscape restoration partnerships, coordinating media relations, press coverage, digital content, and internal comms to reach broad audiences while managing stakeholder relationships and reputational risk.

  • Lead on press coverage, digital content, and internal comms across partnership case studies.
  • Coordinate with project teams to pull stories, identify hooks, and reach diverse audiences.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • photographing a community tree planting event
  • planning press coverage of landscape-scale projects
  • dealing with delicate stakeholder management comms
  • managing press, PR stories and public events working closely with PLT and Participation Team
  • creating digital content (web, social media and video) and internal communications coverage about our partnership case studies and habitat restoration work, to reach a wider audience through their channels.
  • sharing the news hooks, seek out the photo opportunity, and enable advocacy of the project through sharing nature connection opportunities.
  • bring the best out of the project team, property and countryside team, sharing their aims and passions and encouraging them to be our spokespeople.
  • inspire our audience about our work to restore habitats, protect nature and heal climate harm

Requirements

  • Practical experience in a communications and marketing role
  • Experience of developing and delivering communications and marketing plans to achieve objectives.
  • Proven experience creating, editing and publishing content across a range of channels, including web, social media, PR and email communications.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and guidance, including marketing regulations, data protection, copyright and model release requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work to deadlines and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify potential reputational risks and escalate concerns appropriately.
