Own the narrative for a new business school, shaping its voice across channels, translating complex research into clear stories for students, media, and policymakers, and driving multi‑channel campaigns that lift recruitment and reputation.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • lead and deliver strategic communications to enhance the School’s profile, promoting its research excellence, academic expertise, and distinctive contribution to global business education.
  • shape and amplify the voice of the Business School, developing high‑quality, creative, and engaging content across multiple channels.
  • communicate complex research and teaching in clear and compelling ways to a wide range of audiences, including prospective students, media, policymakers, staff, and the wider public.
  • identify and lead opportunities to promote the School’s research and impact at local, national, and international levels, supporting student recruitment, accreditation, and global reputation.
  • responsibility for integrated campaigns, media relations, stakeholder engagement, and internal communications, ensuring a coordinated and strategic approach aligned with University priorities.
  • bring excellent storytelling skills, sound judgement, and a data‑informed approach, with a strong track record of delivering high‑quality content and campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • confident working with senior stakeholders and operating in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
  • play a key role in shaping the voice and reputation of the University’s newest School.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of communications management and strategy development at a senior level is essential.
