Own the external and internal communications stack for a new business school, turning research, teaching, and stakeholder engagement into visible impact across local to international audiences.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver strategic communications to enhance the School’s profile, promoting its research excellence, academic expertise, and distinctive contribution to global business education.
  • Shape and amplify the voice of the Business School, developing high‑quality, creative, and engaging content across multiple channels.
  • Communicate complex research and teaching in clear and compelling ways to a wide range of audiences, including prospective students, media, policymakers, staff, and the wider public.
  • Identify and lead opportunities to promote the School’s research and impact at local, national, and international levels, supporting student recruitment, accreditation, and global reputation.
  • Responsible for integrated campaigns, media relations, stakeholder engagement, and internal communications, ensuring a coordinated and strategic approach aligned with University priorities.
  • Bring excellent storytelling skills, sound judgement, and a data‑informed approach, with a strong track record of delivering high‑quality content and campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and operating in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
  • Play a key role in shaping the voice and reputation of the University’s newest School.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of communications management and strategy development at a senior level is essential.
