Job Summary

Own essential bilingual content and communications work for a climate action project, coordinating stories, media, events, and digital hub content while keeping tight deadlines and cross-team collaboration in scope.

  • Ownership of bilingual content creation and editing across blogs, articles, and multimedia assets.
  • Own project media, marketing delivery, and promotion through events, listings, and external mailings.
  • Coordinate with CAT designers and web/digital teams to produce print/digital ads and manage web content under project timelines.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Contribution to marketing and communications strategy and planning.
  • Contribution to CAT-wide media, communications and marketing work as required.
  • Provision of assistance and cover for others in the team as required.
  • Assistance with administrative duties including invoice coding, timesheets and all other paperwork.
  • Any other appropriate duties as defined by the Project Manager and Co-Heads of Marketing and Communications.
  • Contribution to the project marketing and communications plan including sourcing and production of high-quality content in support of communications and marketing plans.
  • Create and tell inspiring impact stories from the project and beyond.
  • Write, copyedit and proofread high-quality bilingual project related content including blogs and articles for CAT-owned and external platforms.
  • Plan and capture bilingual video and photo content from project activities at CAT and elsewhere for promotion and communications campaigns.
  • Contribution to project media and marketing work as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in copywriting and editing with ability to adapt copy to different platforms and audiences
  • Strong proofreading
  • Demonstrable ability to produce high-quality bilingual (Welsh and English) content
  • Willingness to work to tight deadlines
  • Based at CAT in Machynlleth with hybrid working arrangement

Preferred

  • Experience with bilingual communications
  • Experience with copywriting/editing for multiple platforms and audiences (including blogs/articles)
  • Ability to produce bilingual video/photo content (Welsh/English) is a plus
