Job Summary

Job Description

Own the delivery of teaching and assessment to help learners meet curriculum and QA standards while ensuring inclusive practice and safeguarding compliance.

  • Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment in line with curriculum and awarding body requirements; monitor student progress, attendance and engagement, taking proactive action to support achievement; provide clear targets and timely, constructive feedback to support learner development; adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND; maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance processes such as internal verification and standardisation; carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments.
  • Requirements: Recognised teaching qualification (Level 5 or above); relevant subject qualification (Level 3 or above) and industry experience; strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners; experience delivering teaching or training to young people or adults; knowledge of assessment, feedback and quality assurance processes within education.
