Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Take the wheel of COROS UK's social accounts such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook. You'll build and execute a localised content calendar that fits the UK scene and collaborate with local guest content creators while staying aligned with our global team.
  • Be the voice of COROS online by engaging with our community daily, answer questions, decrease the heat on negative comments, and build real relationships with our fans.
  • Find and team up with UK athletes (primarily runners, but also cyclists, climbers, and outdoor lovers) to create genuine guest content that gets people talking.
  • Grow our UK affiliate program by spotting smart partnerships that elevate the brand and deliver a solid return on investment.
  • Lead athlete interactions and content creation right where the action happens at live events. Working at events will be required alongside the team, 3-4 events per year initially.
  • Team up with our UK PR agency to keep COROS, our product launches, and our athletes in the spotlight.
  • We’re a small team. Sometimes that means rolling up your sleeves to help with retail training, event setups, or whatever it takes to cross the finish line.

Requirements

  • Marketing Experience: You bring 1+ years in a general marketing or social media role. Knowledge of the sports or consumer technology sectors would be an advantage.
  • Social Media Experience: You've successfully built a consumer brand's social presence using channels such as IG, Tiktok, Facebook, and Youtube and know how to engage an online community.
  • Sports Passion: You’re a runner yourself or you have a deep, authentic understanding of the UK running/ endurance sport landscape.
  • Creative Eye: You have a natural instinct for global social trends and experience either creating content yourself or managing external creators.
  • Ease of connecting: You can form connections effortlessly, whether that’s chatting with an elite athlete or engaging with a follower in the comments section. You can naturally read people, understand their needs and cater to them to build lasting relationships.
  • Skillset: You have a degree in business or marketing, but more importantly, you balance a creative mind with strong organizational skills and a data-driven approach.
  • Flexibility: You're ready to travel for events, which means occasional weekend work.

Benefits

  • Work-Life Rhythm: This role is tied to the pace of the sports calendar and social media. To make up for weekend events, COROS offers days off in lieu so you can recharge.
