Responsibilities

• Build and lead the PR strategy for UK and China, our primary target markets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with media, KOLs, industry associations, government-related bodies and channel partners.
• Create Chinese-language brand narratives, press materials, launch events, trade show presence and digital content.
• Support China market entry, including compliance communication, product localization messaging, and distributor and partner communications.
• Manage PR and reputation matters in the UK and China market with judgement and speed.
• Coordinate media and public relations for launch in the UK, Europe and US.
• Support trade shows, investor and partner communications, and industry events.
• Manage external PR agencies, designers, media partners and freelancers.
• Work with product, engineering and compliance teams to ensure messaging is accurate and compliant.
• Support the CEO in cross-border business communication, partnership development and public representation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in marketing, public relations, communications or brand management.
• Strong media, government or industry relationships, particularly in China.
• Native or near-native Chinese language skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong English communication skills for UK, European and US markets.
• Experience in crisis management, public image building and media engagement.
• Comfortable working independently in a small, fast-moving start-up.
• Right to work in the UK.

• Experience working with cross-border teams and Asian partners
• Experience managing PR agencies, KOLs and digital marketing campaigns
• Understanding of data privacy and compliance considerations in marketing
