Job Summary

Own and drive the gallery’s marketing, PR and brand initiatives across campaigns, content, events and communications, coordinating with Directors to elevate antiquities and natural history offerings.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Marketing
  • Propose viable marketing strategies for art fairs, key artworks, exhibitions, and special projects with a goal of raising awareness of the brand, reaching potential clients and growing David Aaron’s community.
  • Create and schedule content for social media and monitor and community manage social channels with the aim of growing engagement and followers across profiles.
  • Prepare regular e-newsletters to promote gallery activity and engage clients.
  • Update the gallery website regularly including artwork listings, events and blog posts.
  • Monitor SEO performance and identify areas of improvement to increase website search visibility and usability.
  • Measure the performance of campaign activity to inform future planning and modelling.
  • Public Relations
  • Oversee the development of public relations strategies and press relationships with journalists.
  • Secure valuable journalistic interest from highly respected news and art media outlets including The Financial Times, The Times, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, BBC, Forbes and The Art Newspaper.

Requirements

  • Experience in producing successful marketing campaigns in the arts or cultural sector.
  • Experience in developing press relations and executing public relations campaigns in the arts or cultural sector.
  • Established press contacts in the arts and culture space.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Punctual and excellent time management skills, a self-starter.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or related field
