Job Summary

You will own and execute the marketing plan for two brands, driving targets from leads to trials, turning features into launches, and managing content, channels, partnerships, events, and paid/SEO efforts to deliver growth.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the marketing plan, calendar and budget for both brands, tied to sales targets and the rhythm of the studio year
  • Set targets for leads, demos and trials, track them monthly and change tack when the numbers tell you to
  • Turn new features into launches, from getting the demo off the devs to recording the video, writing the announcement and running the campaign
  • Write content and case studies that studio owners actually want to read, and go and find the customers with the best stories
  • Run our email marketing and social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile), and keep the website converting
  • Lead the State of the Dance Nation survey with our CEO, from designing it to turning the results into something the industry talks about
  • Find and manage partnerships, plan webinars and line up speakers, and run our events and sponsorship calendar, flyers and all
  • Work with our PPC specialist on paid campaigns and look after SEO
  • Keep the demo decks and demo accounts looking sharp so the sales team always have the best story to tell

Requirements

  • 5+ years in B2B marketing, including 2+ years leading marketing for a software or subscription business
  • A properly hands-on track record across content, email, social, webinars, events and launches, with campaigns you built yourself and results you can point to
  • A strong writer who's just as comfortable with a punchy launch email as a long-form guide or a customer story
  • Commercially minded and results-driven. You set targets, watch the numbers and aren't precious about changing course
  • Happy on camera and in front of a live audience for demos and webinars
  • Comfortable with the usual tools: HubSpot or a similar CRM, email platforms, a CMS, social scheduling, basic video editing and analytics
  • Organised and self-starting, because you'll be juggling two brands with their own seasonal peaks
  • Bonus points if you've marketed to small business owners in dance, education, fitness or leisure, done product marketing before, or have a connection to the performing arts yourself
