Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns across conferences, awards and forums.
- Write, proofread and coordinate marketing content across email, social media, websites, digital advertising and other promotional channels.
- Build, execute and monitor email marketing campaigns, including campaign reporting and post-event analysis.
- Manage social media activity across relevant platforms to maximise audience engagement and campaign performance.
- Assist in the delivery of marketing campaigns for high-profile live events, ensuring activity is delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Analyse audience data and campaign performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Maintain and utilise customer marketing databases to support effective campaign targeting.
- Support the creation and maintenance of event websites and landing pages, ensuring content remains accurate and engaging.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including Editorial, Commercial, Design, Data and Production teams, as well as external agencies and suppliers.
- Provide administrative and operational support to ensure the successful delivery of the Live Events portfolio.
Requirements
- Knowledge of marketing principles and campaign delivery.
- Understanding of digital marketing channels including email and social media.
- Awareness of customer data, audience segmentation and campaign reporting.
- Understanding of content management systems and website maintenance.
- Minimum Criteria: Knowledge of B2B media, publishing or events industry is desirable.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities; High attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work; Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; Creative copywriting skills across a range of marketing channels; Ability to analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement; Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills; Good problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience: Some experience supporting marketing campaigns through employment, internships or work placements; Confident in creating marketing content across a range of digital channels; Experience working collaboratively within a team environment; Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines; Familiarity with marketing platforms, CRM systems or content management systems is desirable.
Preferred
- Knowledge of the B2B media, publishing or events industry is desirable
