Own and drive multi-channel marketing for AEO events and member services, delivering content, campaigns, data maintenance and cross-team collaboration.

  • Collaborate across membership, events and partnerships to promote AEO initiatives.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Deliver marketing campaigns for AEO events, initiatives and member services.
  • Create engaging content for emails, websites, blogs, social media and other marketing channels.
  • Keep the AEO and event websites up to date, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and easy to use.
  • Build, send and test email campaigns, then review performance to improve future activity.
  • Help manage AEO's social media channels and create content that encourages engagement.
  • Create marketing materials including brochures, presentations, graphics, videos and other digital assets.
  • Edit video content for social media and digital channels, and capture simple social content at events where required.
  • Support lead generation and event registrations through marketing activity.
  • Maintain accurate member and customer data within the CRM.
  • Work closely with colleagues across membership, events and partnerships to promote AEO activity.

Requirements

  • At least one year's experience in a marketing role
  • Excellent written English and strong attention to detail.
  • We're a small team, so flexibility is essential. We're looking for someone who's willing to get stuck in, support colleagues and help wherever needed, particularly during busy event periods.
  • Able to write engaging content for different audiences and communication channels.
  • Good organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable learning new digital systems and marketing platforms.
  • Able to review campaign performance and use insights to improve future marketing activity.
  • Comfortable creating visual content using design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Comfortable creating simple social media content at events and editing video content for social media and digital channels.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Social media management or scheduling tools.

  • Working within a membership organisation, trade association or events business.
