Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a Content Creator to join Cromwell Wilkes on a part-time contract basis. This is a new role within a department we are actively building, and we are looking for someone who can grow with us.

What the Work Looks Like

The role is structured around 25 hours per month, split into two core activities:

  • Office time (12-13 hours/month): You will visit our London office roughly twice a week for around 6 hours per visit. During these sessions you will sit with our lawyers, gather information about ongoing cases and legal topics, discuss ideas, and plan upcoming content.
  • Writing time (12-13 hours/month): Working independently, you will produce approximately 2-3 articles per week based on material gathered during office visits.

Content will primarily include blog posts, articles, and website copy aimed at translating complex immigration and business law topics into clear, accessible language for our clients and broader audience.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce accurate, well-structured content for a professional audience
  • Comfortable working directly with lawyers and subject-matter experts to extract and shape information
  • Attention to detail and an understanding of tone, accuracy, and compliance in a legal context
  • Any background or experience in immigration law, legal services, or a regulated professional environment is highly desirable - someone who already understands legal language and concepts will hit the ground running

Compensation

This role is offered at £20/hour, capped at 25 hours per month (£500/month). We are transparent that this reflects the early stage of the department. As the role develops and content output grows, we expect both hours and compensation to increase.
