Job Summary

Own the school’s market narrative and enrollment journey with an insight-led, cross-channel strategy across digital, social, PR, events and content.

  • Brand guardianship and audience strategy that aligns with admissions goals.
  • Lead Open Days, feeder initiatives, and community partnerships across the GDST network.
  • Oversee budgets, external partners, and a two-way data-driven campaign calendar to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Shape how Croydon High School is seen, understood and experienced, strengthening its reputation, growing engagement and supporting pupil recruitment and retention
  • Lead an ambitious, insight-driven marketing strategy across digital, social media, PR, advertising, publications and events
  • Act as guardian of the school’s brand, create compelling campaigns and content, oversee the website, SEO and GEO activity, and use data and market intelligence to identify new opportunities
  • Work closely with Admissions and senior leaders to deliver an exceptional journey for prospective families from first enquiry through enrolment
  • Lead the marketing of Open Days, Taster Events and feeder-school initiatives, while building strong relationships across the school, GDST and wider community
  • Manage the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, external partners and the marketing budget, ensuring projects are engaging, effective and delivered to a high standard

Requirements

  • Proven marketing experience
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong organisation
  • Sound judgement
  • Good understanding of digital marketing, SEO, GEO, social media and customer journeys
