Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Channel Strategy & P&L Ownership: P&L accountability. Own Amazon CM3 across all active global marketplaces. You are responsible for revenue, margin, advertising efficiency, and cost control.
  • Channel Strategy & P&L Ownership: Channel strategy. Set the long-term vision for how Scriveiner competes on Amazon. Learn our strategy, then outline how you will improve it.
  • Channel Strategy & P&L Ownership: Business reporting. Measure what needs to be measured, report to the CEO on all key metrics, use the data to continually improve.
  • Amazon Account Management: Own the day-to-day management of the Scriveiner Amazon account across all active marketplaces.
  • Amazon Account Management: Monitor account health, resolve listing issues and suppression events promptly, and maintain compliance with Amazon’s policies.
  • Amazon Account Management: Liaise with the Inventory Management team to ensure stock levels are accurately reflected on Amazon and replenishment needs are flagged proactively.
  • Amazon Account Management: Maintain and improve product listings titles, bullet points, A+ content, imagery, and Brand Store to maximise conversion, search ranking, and brand presentation.
  • Amazon Account Management: Monitor and protect Buy Box performance, including price scraping risks across channels.
  • PPC: Take full ownership of all Amazon PPC campaigns across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display. You will learn to manage PPC to our strategy first. You will then hire a specialist to fulfil this function.
  • PPC: Manage TACoS performance in line with the company’s expectations.
  • PPC: Conduct regular search term analysis, negative keyword management, and competitor monitoring.
  • PPC: Work with the business on internal PPC tooling currently in development, bringing a clear point of view on the systems and processes the channel needs to scale.
  • New Product Launches: Own the Amazon launch strategy for all new products entering the catalogue - listing creation, stock requirements, initial ranking strategies, launch PPC architecture, and post-launch optimisation.
  • New Product Launches: Contribute to pricing strategy.
  • New Product Launches: Partner with the product, inventory and marketing teams to ensure new product strategies are aligned with Amazon’s platform requirements, optimising offerings for visibility and conversion from day one.
  • Team Leadership: Initially you will manage an Amazon Listing Specialist. Once you have settled into the role we will expect you to oversee the hiring of a PPC specialist. You will be responsible for setting clear direction, maintaining high standards, and developing capability within each part of the Amazon team.
  • Team Leadership: Define KPIs for individual and team performance. Drive accountability and continuous improvement across the channel.
  • Team Leadership: As the channel grows, build the case for additional resources and shape the structure of the Amazon function over time.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple teams to maximise success on Amazon and support growth across the entire business.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing and growing a multi-marketplace Seller Central account. You will have previously overseen significant growth in at least one other brand’s Amazon channel.
  • Deep PPC understanding. You can build campaign architecture from scratch, manage TACoS under pressure, and explain your decisions clearly.
  • Experience leading or managing at least one direct report. You know how to set direction, give feedback, and hold a small team to a high standard.
  • Strong commercial judgement. You can make spend, launch timing, and pricing decisions confidently, and you understand the trade-offs between short-term ranking investment, long-term ranking sustainability and contribution margin.
  • A clear, credible communicator. You can clearly explain and communicate channel performance, translate data into insight, and identify the critical data that will allow us to move the needle. You will not just measure everything and get lost in the detail.
  • Solid understanding of Amazon brand management Buy Box mechanics, listing quality, A+ content, and what it takes to maintain a premium brand’s integrity in a multi-marketplace environment.
  • You will be ambitious, high energy, curious and have a great attitude. We do things differently to many brands. Previously we achieved >100% growth per year over multiple years. This is the level of performance we want.
Preferred
  • Background in premium, lifestyle, gifting, or accessories categories. You understand what it means to protect brand equity on Amazon, not just chase volume.
  • Experience with international marketplace launches or expansion.
  • Familiarity with EU marketplace compliance considerations, VAT, regulatory requirements, cross-border logistics.
  • Experience contributing to or commissioning Amazon tooling, reporting automation, or internal analytics builds.
Benefits
  • Significant annual performance bonus tied directly to Amazon P&L growth. This is a meaningful part of the total package. If you achieve the targets we are looking for, over time your bonus will become larger than your base salary.
  • Full employment package (for candidates within the UK) or remote contractor arrangements available (for candidates based outside the UK).
  • The tools and support you need to do the job properly. Most importantly, amazing products allied with highly ambitious founders and a highly profitable, exceptionally well-capitalised company.
  • Welcome gift: a curated selection of Scriveiner products.
