Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Paid media planning and delivery
  • Brief and manage our agency and freelance partners across paid social (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok), paid search, SEO, display, programmatic and affiliate.
  • Review campaign structure, audience strategy, budget pacing and creative rotation before activity goes live, and stay close enough to the detail to know whether it is being run well.
  • Deliver the agreed paid media plan across all seven markets, adapting activity by market to local performance and seasonality.
  • Shape channel plans with the Head of Ecommerce, bringing recommendations on where budget should move and why.
  • Maintain healthy Google Ads and Merchant Center accounts, resolving feed, policy and disapproval issues promptly.
  • Keep campaign activity aligned to the trading and promotional calendar, working with the Ecommerce team on timings and priorities.
  • Agency management
  • Act as the main day-to-day contact for our digital agencies, running regular performance reviews against agreed KPIs.
  • Manage the agency testing agenda with the Head of Ecommerce, reviewing test plans before activity goes live and checking each has a clear hypothesis and a sensible way of judging the result.

Requirements

  • Five or more years in digital marketing in ecommerce or retail, with hands-on experience running paid campaigns.
  • Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads and Merchant Center, with enough hands-on background to review an account, question how it is structured and spot when something is off.
  • Proven experience managing digital agencies as the client, including briefing, performance review and holding partners to clear KPIs.
  • Comfortable in GA4 and confident working with performance data, including the confidence to say when numbers don't add up.
  • Confident when interrogating CAC, ROAS and acquisition efficiency, and how budget decisions follow from them.
  • Curious about what happens after the click, and able to connect onsite behaviour back to channel and campaign decisions.
  • Organised with budgets: accurate tracking, clean reconciliation, reliable forecasting.
  • Clear communicator, comfortable working with agencies, finance and internal teams.

Preferred

  • Multi-market or international campaign experience is helpful but not essential.
  • Familiarity with Shopify or Klaviyo is an advantage.
  • Fashion, lingerie or premium consumer brand experience is desirable.

Benefits

  • Holiday allowance in line with Bluebella policy, pro-rated for the length of the contract.
  • Flexible Working Policy: flexible start and finish times.
  • Hybrid Working Policy, minimum two days in the office, fully remote in August.
  • Salary Exchange Pension Scheme.
  • Generous employee, friends and family discounts.
  • Office snacks and refreshments.
