Job Summary

Own cross‑regional growth and market development for a high‑stakes medical device franchise by shaping a multi‑year strategy, aligning demand, pricing, and lifecycle across multiple countries, and leading market entry and expansion plans.

  • Franchise Strategy & Governance: Own the EMEA franchise roadmap and governance with Country teams and Global Marketing.
  • Portfolio Growth: Drive demand generation, pricing/positioning, and lifecycle decisions across the region.
  • Market Expansion & Insights: Lead market assessments, new indications, and technology expansion with cross-functional input.

Job Description

  • Franchise Strategy & Governance: Define and execute the long-term EMEA franchise strategy in partnership with Country teams and Global Divisional Marketing.
  • Portfolio & Growth: Own annual and long-range plans, demand generation, pricing and positioning, lifecycle management, and portfolio prioritization across EMEA.
  • Executive Reviews: Lead quarterly business reviews and Strategic Map reviews with Country teams.
  • Demand & Supply Alignment: Own the EMEA demand plan and provide input into the SI&OP process, including allocations during supply constraints.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and lead new market, indication, and technology expansion opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence: Lead comprehensive market assessments including physician interviews, literature reviews, advisory boards, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
  • Strategic Counseling: Evaluate business opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to International and Global leadership teams.
  • Market Entry & Growth: Develop and implement market entry and expansion strategies for approved growth initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Partner with Marketing Science and Analytics teams to support data-driven decision making.
  • Portfolio Selling & Engagement: Drive adoption of portfolio selling frameworks and customer engagement models across EMEA.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or a related field
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) preferred
  • Full professional proficiency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus
  • Significant experience in international marketing, product management, or strategic business leadership within the medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related industry
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex product portfolios and driving business growth across multiple countries
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement environments, and market access dynamics
  • Proven success leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders in a matrix organization
  • Experience in oncology, interventional radiology, embolization, or related therapeutic areas is highly desirable
  • Strong strategic planning and business development capabilities
  • Deep expertise in portfolio strategy and product lifecycle management
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including demand planning and business forecasting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to influence and lead without direct authority across multiple geographies
