Job Summary

Own end-to-end firmwide event planning and delivery, driving supplier liaison, budget control, and post-event analysis while continuously improving processes and calendar governance.

  • Event Planning & Execution: plan, promote, and manage in-person and virtual events across teams.
  • Vendor & Speaker Management: coordinate external partners, hospitality inquiries, venue searches, and speaker liaison.
  • Process & Efficiency: implement best-practice updates and drive technology/sustainability improvements in planning workflows.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Events Manager and Events Manager with the planning and delivery of firmwide events (both in-person and virtual). Tasks include building targeted marketing lists, drafting invitations and reminders, marketing and promotion of the events, managing budgets, liaising with internal and external suppliers, speaker liaison, post-event analysis and debrief presentations.
  • Liaising with external suppliers for corporate hospitality enquiries and venue searches.
  • Support in implementing updates to best practice guidance.
  • Assist in looking at ways to introduce efficiencies (technology and sustainability) and implementing consistency in the event planning process.
  • Assistance with pre-event, on the day and post event actions (could involve early mornings or evenings and possible international travel).
  • Responsible for the management of our dedicated global events calendar.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ marketing and/ or event experience . Preferably (but not essential) within a professional services setting.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic with drive and ambition.
  • Able to learn quickly and follow processes.
  • Proven track record of managing projects from start to finish.
  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and external agencies.
  • Demonstrate good budget management.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A dedicated team player with an intelligent, pragmatic approach able to work effectively as part of a diverse, inclusive, and international team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Solution oriented – always looking for new ways of doing things.
  • Commercially driven.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours on occasion as required.
