Job Summary

Own end-to-end employer outreach and account management to convert labour-market insights into placements, using a consultative selling approach and cross‑team collaboration to grow referrals and vacancies.

  • Employer growth: Generate and manage employer referrals, field outreach, and relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Solution selling: Understand employer recruitment needs and promote GC services through a consultative approach.
  • Delivery and data: Pre‑screen, interview arrangements, feedback loops, and maintain MI with data security and equality standards.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Generate employer leads through direct marketing, digital outreach, calls, meetings and event attendance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, stakeholders and internal GC teams to maximise referrals and opportunities.
  • Analyse labour‑market trends to identify growth sectors and match customers to suitable vacancies.
  • Use a consultative approach to understand employer recruitment needs and promote relevant GC services.
  • Coordinate with training teams and partners to create pre‑employment training aligned to employer requirements.
  • Manage employer accounts, ensuring excellent service, repeat business and uptake of wider GC products.
  • Advertise vacancies clearly, pre‑screen candidates, arrange interviews and gather employer feedback promptly.
  • Maintain accurate MI, follow operational procedures and uphold data security and equality standards.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience, ideally within a target‑driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work to challenging KPIs and deliver consistent results.
  • Good IT capability including MI systems, spreadsheets, email and diary management.
  • Understanding of recruitment processes, training services and welfare‑to‑work provision.

Preferred

  • Experience securing vacancies and supporting job starts is desirable.
