Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage products, collections, categories, navigation, landing pages and website content across the UK, Ireland and European websites.
  • Merchandise products based on stock availability, best sellers, newness, customer behaviour and commercial priorities.
  • Optimise onsite search, filters, product sorting, recommendations, cross-selling and upselling.
  • Ensure products, pricing, promotions and website content are accurate, engaging and on brand.
  • Support daily and weekly ecommerce trading activity, monitoring sales, conversion, AOV, traffic, product performance and availability.
  • Use ecommerce performance data and customer insights to identify opportunities to improve product visibility, conversion and overall website performance.
  • Monitor competitor websites, pricing, promotions, product launches and merchandising activity to identify opportunities and inform trading decisions.
  • Implement onsite promotions, campaigns, sales activity and product launches in line with trading and marketing plans.
  • Manage product uploads, including imagery, descriptions, categorisation, pricing and availability.
  • Ensure new products are accurately presented and effectively merchandised across relevant websites.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience working with ecommerce websites and CMS platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce or similar.
  • Experience managing products, website content, collections and promotions.
  • Good understanding of ecommerce merchandising and online customer experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing product, pricing and promotional information.
  • Comfortable working with ecommerce data and performance metrics.
  • Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.
  • Proactive and commercially minded, with the ability to identify opportunities and take action.
  • Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with wider teams.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience working across multiple websites or international markets.
  • Familiarity with GA4, Google Search Console and Google Merchant Centre.
  • Understanding of SEO, onsite search, merchandising tools or CRO.
  • Experience with ecommerce automation, integrations or performance reporting.
  • Interest in ecommerce trends, digital customer experience and online merchandising.
  • Experience within retail, fashion, outdoor or consumer brands would be advantageous.
