Job Summary

Own the merged paid and organic digital engine, expanding affiliate partnerships while sharpening conversion and lifecycle messaging across email and SMS.

  • Affiliate & Partnerships: grow the network with performance-driven partners and optimise commission terms for incremental sales.
  • Channel Execution: drive paid search, paid social, display, video, SEO, and site UX to lift conversions and ROAS.
  • Lifecycle & Testing: run test-and-learn programs for email, SMS, and on-site experiences to improve funnel performance.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The main purpose of your role as our Digital Marketing Manager is to lead and accelerate our digital marketing performance, driving sales growth through best-in-class execution across all digital channels.
  • Lead and grow the affiliates programme across multiple comparison sites, building strong, commercially productive relationships with partners.
  • Proactively identify and develop new affiliate and partnership opportunities to expand reach and drive incremental sales.
  • Manage performance across the affiliate network, tracking contribution to overall sales targets and optimising agreements.
  • Own the digital marketing plan and manage media budgets across paid search, paid social, display, online video, and influencer marketing.
  • Oversee SEO strategy, ensuring it evolves consistently, with a focus on local SEO and report on organic conversion growth.
  • Manage agency relationships (including paid media and SEO agencies), briefing and holding them accountable to performance targets.
  • Develop test-and-learn frameworks to drive innovation and efficiencies across all paid and organic activity.
  • Oversee the website, taking ownership of performance, user experience, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor website traffic, analyse core KPIs, and develop a testing strategy to improve conversion rates.

Requirements

  • Analytically strong: you are highly data-literate, comfortable interpreting complex performance data, and driven to use insight to accelerate results.
  • A self-starter: you are proactive, take ownership, and do not wait to be told what to do, especially important given the pace of this hire.
  • A relationship builder: you develop effective partnerships internally and externally, including with affiliate and agency partners.
  • A composed operator: you cope well under pressure, maintain resilience, and manage setbacks without losing momentum.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present performance clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic planning and commercial problem-solving.
  • Affiliate and partnership management across comparison sites and performance networks.
  • Full-funnel digital channel management: paid search, paid social, display, SEO, email, SMS, and content.
  • Email and SMS campaign management, including lifecycle marketing, abandoned basket recovery, lead nurture, and cold data reactivation.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in a broadband, utilities, or subscription-based consumer business.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and content management.
  • Experience using Adobe Suite or similar creative tools.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing platforms and CRO methodology.
