Job Description

Own the end-to-end creative pipeline for high-converting Meta and TikTok ads, from concept to production, with data-driven iteration and volume testing across hooks, leads, and formats.

  • Responsibilities: Drive growth on our Meta ad account by writing high-converting leads, scripts, and angles, then using the data to compound the winners.
  • Responsibilities: Write the copy: Leads, hooks, scripts, VSLs, and advertorials that hold a mechanism and convert. This is the core of the seat.
  • Responsibilities: Competitor & market research: Live in the Meta Ad Library and TikTok. Break down what's working in our category and adjacent ones, and understand why at the structural level.
  • Responsibilities: Concept development: Generate angles and storylines grounded in real consumer insight, mapped to awareness level and market sophistication. You start from a hypothesis.
  • Responsibilities: Brief production: Translate your script into a brief so clear the editor executes it without guessing. This is where copy becomes a finished ad, and where most writers get sloppy.
  • Responsibilities: Data-driven iteration: Analyze CTR, hook rate, hold rate, ROAS. Kill what's not working. Double down on what is.
  • Responsibilities: Variants at volume: Take winners and ship new hooks, leads, VSL cuts, and advertorial reformats alongside every net new concept, without waiting to see if the first one wins.
  • Responsibilities: Pipeline ownership: Run the creative pipeline end-to-end in Airtable.
  • Requirements: Direct-response writer first. You're fluent in awareness levels, market sophistication, and hook / lead / mechanism / proof / offer architecture. You can write a lead that stops the scroll and a script that converts, and you can say out loud why it works. Your brief is clean enough that the ad comes back the way you wrote it.
  • Requirements: Taste. Strong, defensible opinions on what's good and bad. You can name 3 brands whose ads you'd steal from and 3 you think are wasting money. And explain why.
  • Requirements: Pattern recognition. You can study 50 winning ads and tell us what they have in common. You see the structural threads beneath the surface. This is how we find what's coming next.
  • Requirements: Detail-obsessed. You notice the small things that move conversion. Hook timing. Caption clarity. The wrong font in a thumbnail. The gap between a winner and an almost-winner is usually detail.
  • Requirements: Bet-maker. You'd rather ship 10 weird angles where 1 is a unicorn than 10 safe ones that all do okay. You understand performance creative is asymmetric. The wins pay for everything else.
  • Requirements: Not attached. When the data says your favorite concept isn't working, you cut it without arguing.
  • Requirements: High-volume builder. You'd rather ship a v1 today than a "perfect" one next week.
  • Requirements: Self-starter. Take a goal and run with it. We won't micromanage you.
  • Requirements: Output-focused. Driven by the volume and quality of copy you ship into production.
  • Requirements: Strong understanding of Meta/TikTok ad platforms and what makes short-form video convert
  • Requirements: Fluency with direct-response copy: leads, VSLs, advertorials, and the full hook-to-close
  • Requirements: Familiarity with Airtable (or willingness to learn fast)
  • Requirements: Understanding of how LLMs work and how to write with them
  • Requirements: Experience: E-commerce experience is a plus. If you don't have it, you need to be obsessed with it. Actively studying DTC brands, dissecting their funnels, reading their VSLs, knowing why their leads work.
  • Nice_to_have: E-commerce experience is a plus.
  • Benefits: Fully remote
  • Benefits: Flexible schedule
  • Benefits: Health benefits
  • Benefits: Paid holidays & paid leave
  • Benefits: Uncapped compensation
