You’ll be at the centre of our apprentice talent pipeline - ensuring every apprentice and employer partner experiences a seamless, high-quality journey. You’ll lead from the front, balancing strategy with hands-on delivery, and play a key role in driving growth across the business.
What You’ll be Doing
Lead & Inspire
Manage and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Managers and Onboarding Executives
Set clear goals, drive performance, and build a high-performing culture
Coach, mentor, and support your team to succeed
Own the Talent Journey
Oversee apprentice recruitment pipelines aligned to employer demand
Ensure candidates are effectively sourced, assessed, and matched
Deliver a smooth, engaging onboarding experience from offer to enrolment
Champion Quality & Compliance
Maintain audit-ready processes and documentation at all times
Deliver consistent, high-quality Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)
Improve & Innovate
Analyse data and KPIs to optimise performance
Streamline processes to improve efficiency and scalability
Enhance candidate and employer satisfaction at every stage
Stay Hands-On
Manage your own caseload across recruitment and onboarding
Step in during peak periods to support deliver
What We’re Looking For
You’re a natural leader who combines commercial awareness with a passion for people and process.
You’ll bring:
Experience in recruitment (ideally within apprenticeships or learner focused environments)
Ability to adhere to compliance-driven metrics
Proven ability to lead
Excellent attention to detail, organisational and problem-solving skills
Confidence working with data, KPIs, and systems (CRM/ATS)
A proactive, hands-on approach with a “player-manager” mindset
Bonus points if you have:
Experience in apprenticeships or funded learning
Knowledge of DfE funding rules
