Job Summary

Own content creation and distribution across multi-channel campaigns for event and client programs, with a data driven approach to improve reach, engagement, and conversions.

  • Content Engine: Own end to end content creation and distribution across email, social, and web to support event launches and retention.
  • Demand & Engagement: Use insights to optimize performance and drive ticket sales, community engagement, and leads.
  • Cross functional Collaboration: Partner with Head of Marketing, Creative and external stakeholders to execute campaigns and maintain brand standards.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving traffic, engagement, leads, and brand awareness through the creation and distribution of high-quality content across multiple digital channels.
  • Working closely with the Head of Marketing, Creative Team and wider team, you will create compelling content that supports event launches, entry campaigns, ticket sales, community engagement, and customer retention.
  • You will be responsible for creating and distributing content across email, social media, websites, and other channels, ensuring all communications align with brand guidelines and commercial objectives.
  • The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing skills, strong experience, and the ability to use data and insights to continuously improve performance.
  • This role requires a brand publisher mindset: creating the content our audience is looking for, utilising CRM and AI tools, and delivering it through the right channels, and optimising performance to support business goals.
  • Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for the effective delivery of content marketing across the Don't Panic events portfolio and client events where required.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, English, Creative Writing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years' experience in a similar content marketing role.
  • Excellent creative writing and copywriting skills.
  • 2-3 years of experience with current digital marketing strategies and best practices.
  • Management of digital content hubs and supporting social media channels, as well as email.
  • Understanding of audience segmentation, data management, and CRM best practices.
  • Experience creating content tailored to different platforms, audiences, and stages of the customer journey.
  • Management and maintenance of annual content calendars across multiple campaigns and projects.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools responsibly to support content creation, improve efficiency, streamline processes, and identify opportunities for marketing innovation while maintaining quality and brand standards.
  • Measuring the results of marketing activity to inform future campaigns, including producing regular reports to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Preferred

  • Desirable Skills and Experience including Understanding of Search, SEO and content optimisation.
  • Experience using WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Experience working with CRM systems such as HubSpot for email marketing and audience segmentation.
  • Experience using AI tools to support content workflows, research, campaign planning, and process improvement.
  • Experience working in an agency or fast-paced marketing environment.
  • Experience working on Canva or Adobe is desirable
