Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a cross-brand content and editorial strategy aligned with business and event objectives.
  • Act as the central coordination point between existing editorial contributors across brands (e.g. newsletters, features, campaigns).
  • Plan and deliver engaging, multi-format content including written articles, interviews, video, podcasts, and social media output.
  • Own and evolve the content approach for event promotion and on-site coverage, including pre-event campaigns and live content capture.
  • Conduct and manage video interviews at events, ensuring high-quality, audience-relevant output.
  • Identify opportunities to grow and engage audiences across platforms, applying modern content and social media strategies.
  • Support and enhance eNewsletter performance through content planning, structure, and storytelling.
  • Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to ensure content supports sponsorship and revenue objectives.
  • Monitor content performance and audience engagement, using insights to refine strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in editorial, content strategy, or communications roles (ideally within B2B or events-driven industries).
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and audience-focused content across formats.
  • Experience creating and managing multimedia content, including video and/or podcasts.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and audience growth strategies (particularly newer or emerging trends).
  • Confidence in interviewing industry professionals and creating content in live event environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and align content across different brands or business units.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of how content supports marketing and sponsorship objectives.

Preferred

  • Experience in maritime, logistics, or B2B publishing sectors.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and content performance metrics.
  • Experience working with influencers, creators, or audience growth strategies.
