Responsibilities

• Leading our Rugby Development communications strategy by driving a communications plan aligned to strategic priorities, collaborating with our Marketing, Social and Content teams as the lead voice on messaging for the community game
• Identifying and delivering standout milestones and moments that matter in the rugby calendar
• Championing the community game, ensuring Rugby Development and the domestic game is always well represented
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to share stories that maximise reach and impact

Requirements

• Someone that can translate high-level priorities into clear, compelling narratives
• Ability to establish strong media relationships and a proven track record of generating impactful coverage, managing proactive campaigns and reactive situations
• A confident collaborator - you build trusted relationships with partners, colleagues and grassroots clubs and you know how to bring people along with you
• Experience leading integrated communication plans across communications, marketing and digital channels
