We are looking for a Communications Co-ordinator to join our Final Mile Development team, playing a key role in delivering impactful, timely and engaging communications to our nationwide courier network.
This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role where you will act as a central point of coordination and control for courier communications, helping to ensure the right messages reach the right people at the right time.
Reporting into the Delivery process and Implementation Manager, you will work closely with stakeholders across Delivery, Training, and Product teams to plan and deliver communication strategies that support business change, operational updates and major projects.
What You will Be Doing
- Co-ordinate and deliver clear, consistent communications to our courier network
- Own and manage the weekly courier communications rhythm, including news updates
- Create, schedule and distribute targeted communications across key topics such as:
- Operational updates and process changes
- Performance and availability messaging
- Resourcing and peak planning
- New tools, features and initiatives
- Act as a gatekeeper for courier communications, ensuring consistency, quality and priority alignment
- Work closely with stakeholders to plan communication strategies for new initiatives and projects
- Maintain and update content within internal platforms
- Support the shift from email-led communications to more scalable, structured channels
- Track, log and report on communication activity, providing insights to improve engagement and effectiveness
- Identify communication gaps and continuously improve how we engage our courier community
What We are Looking For
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
- Highly organised with the ability to reprioritise quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Confident working with multiple stakeholders and managing expectations
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to balance competing demands
- Comfortable acting as a central co-ordinator and decision-maker for communications
- Collaborative, approachable and able to build strong working relationships
- Previous experience in communications, operations or a similar coordination role is beneficial but not essential
- Someone to bring energy, ideas and continuous improvement to how we communicate at scale
