You will own end-to-end media workflows for broadcast content, coordinating asset, file prep, delivery, archiving and brand elements while supporting the Channels team across live and promo work.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Operations, Planning and On-Air teams to manage the receipt and delivery of all broadcast content.
  • Acquire and maintain up-to-date event information, promotional assets and programme deliverables.
  • Download, trim, transcode and deliver advertising content for transmission.
  • Process bumpers and filler content and deliver to all transmission platforms.
  • Maintain media on servers and nearline storage, regularly producing archive and deletion lists.
  • Monitor validity dates for short- and long-form content and action any required updates.
  • Assist the Channels team in the creation, receipt and delivery of media for transmission and playout.
  • Create filler content and channel wallpaper.
  • Produce ad hoc promotional content for channel use.
  • Create and maintain channel brand elements.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of media file formats and electronic media transfer processes.
  • Sound understanding of broadcast operations and media types.
  • Experience using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or Avid (training can be provided).

Preferred

  • Experience using Provys or equivalent broadcast management systems (e.g. IBMS, BSS or Vision).
  • Previous experience working with media in a broadcast or post-production environment.
  • Desirable: Experience working within a multi-channel broadcast environment, particularly with live or sports content.
  • Desirable: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Desirable: Experience using Adobe Photoshop or similar image editing software.
