Job Summary

Own strategic and cross-functional marketing initiatives, deliver weekly performance insights, and shape a growth-focused trajectory over an 18–24 month horizon.

  • Lead quarterly strategic projects from scoping to recommendations
  • Own weekly marketing performance read-outs and translate data into action

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategic projects across the marketing function
  • You will own quarterly strategic projects set by the Director, from scoping through to recommendation. These might be a competitor deep-dive, a channel economics review, a new launch plan, or joining the team to execute on partnerships, events and brand campaigns. You move between strategic thinking and hands-on execution without friction.
  • Business reporting and performance insight
  • You will own the weekly marketing performance read-out across every channel, pulling data, spotting trends, and translating numbers into a clear story the marketing team can act on.
  • Cross-functional project coordination
  • You will coordinate major quarterly initiatives that span marketing and the wider business, from kickoff through delivery. You will keep timelines moving, chase inputs, and own the follow-through across teams.
  • Advancement: own a function
  • Over 18 - 24 months, based on what you naturally gravitate toward and where the business needs the most capacity, you will take on a specific channel, function or initiative. The intent is for this seat to be a launchpad, not a destination.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing or growth adjacent roles, strategy consulting, high-growth scale-up or a top-tier graduate scheme.
  • Exceptional analytical rigour: You can structure a problem, run the analysis, and reach a defensible conclusion. You are comfortable in spreadsheets, dashboards and simple data tools.
  • Clear communication: You can take a complex problem and explain it in one page, one chart, or one sentence depending on what the audience needs.
  • Problem-solving instinct: You default to finding the answer rather than waiting to be told. You spot the thing that is not working and bring a view on how to fix it.
  • Bias to action: You get energy from shipping. You prefer finished to perfect, and you do not need everything resolved before you start.
  • Attention to detail: You care that the numbers add up and the campaign goes out without typos. You understand that the detail is where credibility is built.
  • Adaptability: You can move between strategic thinking and tactical execution in the same hour without losing quality on either.
  • Ownership mindset: You bring more than is asked of you. You take ownership even when the task sits across someone else's remit.
