Job Summary

Own on-site event delivery by leading a small field team, turning client goals into live activations and measurable audience engagement.

  • Team Leadership: coach and motivate a frontline events crew to execute campaigns to standard and on schedule.
  • Activation Execution: plan, run, and optimize on-site brand experiences aligned with client objectives.
  • Performance & Insight: translate field results into actionable improvements with real-time guidance and post-event reporting.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a small events and promotions team, coordinating daily activities, setting clear goals, and ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Planning and executing on-site brand activations.
  • Motivating and coaching team members.
  • Providing real-time guidance during events.
  • Collaborating with account managers and clients to understand campaign objectives and translate them into effective field strategies.
  • Monitoring performance, reporting on key metrics, and supporting continuous improvement in customer engagement, brand representation, and operational efficiency.
  • Regular on-the-floor leadership, problem-solving during live events, and maintaining a positive, professional atmosphere for both colleagues and customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in team leadership or supervisory roles within events, field marketing, retail, or hospitality, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including scheduling, task prioritization, and the ability to manage multiple activities during live events.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging diverse audiences and representing client brands professionally on-site.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure and handle unexpected situations during campaigns or events.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, including evenings or weekends when required by event schedules.
  • Basic reporting and analytical skills to track performance, gather feedback, and provide concise updates to management and clients.
  • High level of reliability, integrity, and alignment with core values such as honesty, commitment, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to commute to and work on-site in Maidstone on a daily basis; eligibility to work in the UK.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in events, promotions, brand ambassador work, or sales is highly beneficial; exposure to marketing or brand-building environments is a plus.
  • Formal education in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is advantageous but not essential if supported by relevant experience.
