Own the social media strategy and digital campaigns for the programme, coordinating content creation, partner coordination, and performance reporting across multiple platforms.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social media management
  • Develop and manage the social media strategy for the programme across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X
  • Create, schedule and publish engaging organic content tailored to early years practitioners
  • Monitor and respond to engagement, comments and direct messages across platforms
  • Identify and engage key sector influencers, practitioner communities and partner social channels to amplify reach
  • Track and report social media performance data against registration targets
  • Digital campaign management
  • Support the development and execution of the digital advertising campaign (£75,000 budget)
  • Brief and coordinate with external agencies or freelancers where needed
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimise targeting and creative to maximise registrations

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience managing social media channels professionally, including content creation and community management
  • Experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong copywriting skills — able to write engagingly for a practitioner audience
  • Competent with social media management and scheduling tools
  • Analytically minded — comfortable using data to track performance and inform decisions
  • Collaborative and organised, with experience working across multiple stakeholders or partners

Preferred

  • Experience marketing CPD, training or educational programmes
  • Familiarity with the early years or education sector
  • Experience managing paid social or digital advertising campaigns
  • Knowledge of GDPR requirements for marketing communications
  • Experience coordinating partner marketing activity at national scale
