Job Summary
Own the end-to-end organic content engine across platforms, from strategy with the founder to production and measurement, turning long-form video into scalable platform-native short-form content that drives growth and brand trust.
- Content Engine Ownership: lead a multi-platform rollout, editorial cadence, and the Content Waterfall system for repeatable, high-quality output.
- Editing & Quality Governance: manage a 5-person team, optimize hooks, pacing, retention, and brand voice to lift CTR and retention.
- Data-Driven Optimization: use cross-channel metrics to identify winning formats and feed insights to paid for better ads and messaging.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Build and lead the organic content engine across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
- Turn long-form video into platform-native shorts and posts with compelling angles and thumbnails.
- Own the organic content calendar and publishing cadence across all channels.
- Lead the 5-person editing team day-to-day, ensuring hook strength, pacing, retention, and brand voice.
- Design repeatable systems so great content is predictable and scalable.
- Track organic performance, report weekly, and iterate based on data.
- Feed winning hooks and messaging to the Paid team to improve ads and creative.
- Design and run the Content Waterfall System to convert long-form videos into shorts and socials.
- Coordinate with Josh Hudson on content strategy, ideation, and creative direction.
- Support new channels (LinkedIn, blog, podcast) as we scale.
Requirements
- 3+ years managing content production or editing teams in async, remote-first environments.
- Proven experience reviewing video edits with quality, pacing, and creative feedback.
- Experience with short-form content distribution on Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
- Experience building Content Waterfall systems, SOPs, and repeatable workflows.
- Analytics competency to choose leading and lagging metrics across platforms.
- Background in coaching, info-products, or online education (highly preferred).
