Job Summary

Own the dairy RGM agenda UK and Ireland, steering price and promo levers across channels, while aligning cross-functional delivery and trade ROI to lift topline profit.

  • Lead end-to-end RGM: price, promotions, pack pricing, and mix across markets and channels.
  • Own interdependencies and cross-team execution with a focus on P&L impact and stakeholder storytelling.
  • Coach the RGM team and partners to hit a shared dashboard of promotional targets and value creation.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Setting the RGM strategy for the Dairy category for the UK & Irish markets.
  • Delivery manager for 1x Revenue Growth Manager.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to lead the RGM strategy for all channels and markets for the category.
  • Ensures interdependencies are aligned.
  • Pack Price Architecture: drive value through insight-led recommendations on pack and pricing strategy across all Danone brands.
  • Mix & Portfolio Management: identify and leverage opportunities to optimize mix by pack/channel/customer.
  • Trade Terms: optimize trade terms investment and ROI to create value for Danone and trade partners.
  • Promotional Effectiveness: partner with sales and marketing to optimize promotions; maintain a dashboard of targets; empower teams to achieve targets.
  • Strategy: lead creation and management of key RGM levers; set Price/Promo strategy and Trade Spend assumptions for key innovations.
  • Team Engagement & Development: coach and develop RGM team and cross-functional colleagues; set inspiring plans and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience of driving profitable growth initiatives across different revenue levers as part of a RGM/Commercial strategy function
  • Proven track record of exceptional business commercial value creation
  • Ability to influence others, building compelling narratives & recommendations from complex data
  • Deep understanding of the full impact through the P&L of the topline investment choices
  • High level of commercial acumen, ideally with experience in important customer management roles
  • Leadership: A self starter who is passionate about finding growth opportunities
  • Thinks beyond own scope and take in the wider business needs when making decisions
  • Balances between the operational day to day and the long-term strategic thinking
  • Manages a broad network internally and externally to support delivery, adapting style accordingly
