Job Summary

Own trade marketing across wholesale and DTC by arming sales with launch assets, retail campaigns, and in-store visuals while collecting market intel to shape future activity.

  • Trade channel ownership: champion the brand at retailers, garden centres, and exhibitions.
  • Sales enablement: produce launch packs, product sheets, and sales toolkits that help close deals.
  • Campaign production: deliver retail POS, seasonal campaigns, and localised assets for international partners.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Championing the David Austin brand across every trade and partner touchpoint.
  • Creating compelling marketing that helps our sales teams win business.
  • Developing launch packs, product sheets, presentations and sales toolkits.
  • Producing retail-ready point-of-sale and seasonal campaigns for garden centres.
  • Helping develop our visual merchandising so our brand stands out in-store.
  • Leading our presence at exhibitions and trade events.
  • Supporting international partners with localised marketing assets and campaigns.
  • Gathering market insight and competitor intelligence to inform future activity.
  • Managing multiple projects, agencies and suppliers to deliver high-quality work on time.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve how we market through trade channels as our business evolves.

Requirements

  • At least seven years' marketing experience with strong B2B and trade expertise.
  • Experience within a premium or lifestyle brand operating across wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels.
  • A track record of creating marketing that supports commercial sales.
  • Experience producing retail marketing, launch campaigns and point-of-sale materials.
  • An eye for visual merchandising and in-store brand presentation.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the confidence to spot opportunities and drive improvements.
  • A collaborative, pragmatic approach with excellent communication skills.
  • The willingness to be hands-on and take pride in every detail, from major campaigns to everyday marketing materials.

Preferred

  • Experience in horticulture, gardening or seasonal retail.
  • Experience supporting international or partner-led markets.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and CRM.
