Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management and optimisation of paid media campaigns, operating within Genie Shopping’s defined frameworks and guardrails.
  • Systematically implement new features and processes across accounts as they are introduced.
  • Monitor campaign performance, addressing fluctuations and maintaining account health as per Genie Shopping best practice.
  • Execute tests within the agreed testing framework, ensuring results are documented and fed back clearly to inform future decisions.
  • Work with wider paid media and product teams to devise systematic solutions for challenges and opportunities.
  • Contribute insights and feedback to support the development of GSN’s paid media strategy and roadmap, primarily through structured testing and real-world learnings.
  • Continuously explore new opportunities, features, and channels within the performance shopping landscape.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring consistent progress and decision prioritisation.
  • Collaborate with partnerships and product teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Work closely with the partnerships team using data and expertise to identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Deliver regular reports and presentations for both internal and external use, highlighting key metrics and insights.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to paid media.
  • Identify and attend relevant industry events.

Requirements

  • Typically 3+ years’ experience in PPC, with strong depth in Shopping Ads
  • Experience owning operations or delivering quality across large account portfolios
  • Proven ability to prioritise effectively in complex, high-volume environments
  • Strong understanding of when to intervene vs when to let systems run
  • Comfortable working within existing frameworks and improving them pragmatically
  • Ability to oversee performance without relying on constant hands-on optimisation
  • Clear, structured communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

  • Experience in affiliate or CPA-based models with limited tracking signals
  • Exposure to environments where scale, consistency, and risk management matter more than bespoke optimisation
  • Background in e-commerce, marketplaces, or performance-led retail environments
