Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the end‑to‑end brand roadmap, from concept and product development through to launch, lifecycle management and rationalisation.
  • Develop and maintain strong brand positioning and value propositions that resonate with our target customers and support channel strategies (stores, online and wholesale where applicable).
  • Translate market insights, customer feedback and commercial data into actionable product specifications, features and price architecture.
  • Work closely with design and product teams to brief, approve and iterate ranges, ensuring consistency of quality, fit for purpose specification and cost targets.
  • Partner with supply chain and buying to set order plans, margin targets and inventory strategies that balance availability and working capital.
  • Develop seasonal range plans, promotional calendars and NPD pipelines that drive sales and margin improvements.
  • Liaise with marketing and visual teams to create impactful launch packs, product copy, imagery and in‑store merchandising tools.
  • Monitor brand and SKU performance, producing regular commercial reviews and taking timely corrective action where required.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and influence senior decision making through clear commercial rationale and reporting.
  • Champion sustainability and cost‑efficiency opportunities in product design and sourcing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in brand, product or range management, ideally within furniture, homewares, sleep or fast‑moving retail categories.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering profitable NPD and range performance against sales and margin targets.
  • Strong numeracy and commercial analysis skills, able to interpret sales, margin and inventory metrics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to lead cross‑functional projects.
  • Knowledge of product specification, costing and supply chain processes, with experience of working alongside offshore suppliers an advantage.
  • Organised, proactive and able to prioritise competing demands in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Preferred

  • Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, product design or a relevant discipline is desirable.
