Job Summary
Own the social and digital footprint for campus catering content, turning site culture into campaigns that drive engagement and learnings you can act on.
- Campaigns and content: plan and publish digital campaigns and short-form content across platforms to boost awareness and sales.
- Site partnerships: build relationships with chefs, baristas, and site teams to reflect local culture in every activity.
- Measurement and iteration: analyse campaign and social performance to inform future activity and evidence-based decisions.
Job Description
- Responsibilities: Develop and execute digital campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and sales.
- Responsibilities: Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging content for @ualcatering, including copy, graphics, photography, reels, and short-form video content.
- Responsibilities: Build strong relationships with chefs, baristas, and site teams to ensure campaigns reflect the culture and activity of each site.
- Responsibilities: Coordinate marketing activity across multiple catering locations while maintaining consistency in tone, branding, and messaging.
- Responsibilities: Analyse campaign and social media performance, using insights and data to improve future activity and support evidence-based decision making.
- Responsibilities: Research collaboration opportunities with student communities, societies, and external partners to increase engagement and awareness.
- Responsibilities: Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
- Responsibilities: Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages professionally and in a timely manner.
- Responsibilities: Attend regular meetings, site visits, and follow-ups with teams and stakeholders, reporting progress to the Marketing Manager.
- Requirements: Passionate about food, hospitality, and social media.
- Requirements: Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, trends, analytics, and audience engagement.
- Requirements: Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, and other editing tools.
- Requirements: Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines across different sites.
- Requirements: Able to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and deliver at pace.
- Requirements: Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a collaborative approach.
- Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in a social media or marketing role is preferable
- Preferred: Ideally educated to degree level in marketing, digital media, or a related discipline
- Preferred: Strong attention to detail and willingness to take initiative and go the extra mile when needed
