Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across multiple social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor social media platforms for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly and professionally.
  • Support the development of marketing campaigns and promotional materials aligned with brand objectives.
  • Help coordinate public relations activities to enhance the organisation’s reputation and community presence.
  • Analyse social media metrics to evaluate campaign performance and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain an organised content calendar to ensure consistent online presence.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm innovative ideas for campaigns and outreach initiatives.
  • Support event promotion through digital channels to maximise visibility and attendance.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in marketing, public relations, and social media management.
  • Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and content management tools.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
  • Organisation skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Prior experience or coursework related to digital marketing or communications is advantageous but not essential.
